The Aqua Disco in Tamarindo is a new modern stylish club the sets new standards for Tamarindo nightlife. Sharky’s Sports Bar and Grill has been a Tamarindo local hangout and favorite drinking spot for many years. A bad fire burned down the original Sharky’s back in 2010, however the owners re-built and re-opened Sharky’s a year later.
The atmosphere is casual with a cool cafe / bar style decor. The overall feeling is pretty hip, with a DJ randomly spinning some 80’s rap. Being a sports bar, there are no shortages of flat screen TV’s surrounding the walls. The big screens are always showing some sporting or music event. For those of you that might be Hockey fans, this is one of the only sports bars that is happy to feature NHL games!
The menu at Sharky’s is a limited pub style, serving up wings, onion rings, fries… you get the idea. The drinks are served with a smile and include an extensive selection of Costa Rica’s locally craft brews. If you are looking for a little more than a brew, they serve cocktails like mojitos, a perfect to end a hot beach day!
